PM Modi meets Chinese president Xi Jinping at G20 dinner | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday at a G20 dinner hosted by Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Bali.
It was the first time that the PM and Xi Jinping have publicly exchanged words since a military standoff in Galwan Valley in April 2020. They last met at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Samarkand, but didn’t exchange any words on camera.
PM Modi will be holding bilateral talks with several world leaders on Wednesday, including UK PM Rishi Sunak. Officials, however, said there is no meeting scheduled between the PM and Xi.
