Sports carco McLaren enters India – Times of India

NEW DELHI: British supercar maker McLaren Automotive on Thursday entered India, and unveiled its new 765LT spider model as it opened its first showroom in Mumbai.
The niche super sports car company, which sold around 2,000 cars globally in 2021, said India is a key strategic market as it looks to cash in on the luxury-spending appetite of high net worth individuals.
McLaren’s range of supercars is designed at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre in Surrey. The supercar maker will offer models including the Everyday McLaren GT and the first-ever high-performance hybrid – the Artura, said Paul Harris, MD of the company’s APAC and China region.
