UK FTA: Patents, films on agenda – Times of India
The government is looking to secure the patent regime against evergreening by pharma companies, seek easier work visas as well as access for Indian movies in the UK under the proposed FTA. The move comes amid concerns that inclusion of issues such as labour and environment may not be in the interest of the country in the long run.
